Penny’s Mill was founded in the mid 80s and has grown to become a leading international maker of organ cases. Our work can be found around the world and as far afield as Japan, New Zealand, Australia, the USA, Europe and the United Kingdom.
With its origins as a local cabinet making business in Devizes Wiltshire, Penny’s Mill Ltd won its first organ case contract in 1988. Nearly 30 years later we have built over 100 organ cases for the UK’s leading organ builders.
Although our international reputation has been achieved from organ work, the workshop is still busy with furniture, joinery and other cabinet making projects.
Whether working with designers or architects of the organ world, or producing our own designs for clients projects, our reputation is built solidly on quality craftsmanship, using the best materials for each project and ensuring nothing leaves our workshop unless we are satisfied that it meets our exacting standards. It is why so many of our clients have been with us for so many years.
